COREMO COMBINED D-DUAL PNEUMATIC CALIPER BRAKE

Art.nr: D-DUAL

The braking forces of the two standard models, D1-2N and D3-3N, are 4480 [N] and 11620 [N] for air-actuated and 5250 [N] and 10400 [N] for failsafe operation, respectively.

To release the brake, an air pressure of no more than 6 [bar] is required. The brake can be installed in any position since it has a lever balancing and lining pad alignment system.

The SG iron caliper is designed to withstand the mechanical and thermal stresses generated in compliance with satisfactory safety coefficients. The lining pads can be adjusted to ensure that the friction surfaces grip the brake disc at all points.

Braking force F D3-3N: air actuated 11620 N at 6 bar, spring applied 10400 N. D1-2N: air actuated 4480 N at 6 bar, spring applied 5250 N
Dynamic torque = F • (disc radius in m - 0.033) = Nm
Max total wear 12 mm
Thickness of new lining 11 mm
Continuous thermal capacity Qc 3.4 kW
Minimum release pressure 5 bar (spring applied)
The torque values specified are obtained with n. 8 springs (spring applied)
Torque proportionally less are achievable with n. 6-4-2 springs
