AB Ernst Hj. Rydahl Bromsbandfabrik was founded in 1916 by Ernst Hjalmar Rydahl and is today one of the leading wholesale and technology companies in the Nordic region within the business areas of friction materials and brake components for vehicles and industrial purposes.

RYDAHLS strives to provide market-leading products and services. The company shall, by systematically working with continuous improvements in its operations, achieve high customer satisfaction and meet the goals set for the business.

Our quality process is constantly undergoing improvements. Our work in planning for the changes we know are coming is one of our most important tools for maintaining and improving quality.

The operations within RYDAHLS impact the external environment. The business shall meet or exceed societal environmental requirements and comply with the standards of ISO 14001. We continuously work to minimize the negative impacts and protect the environment by striving to meet the following objectives:

  • Comply with applicable environmental legislation and meet agreed quality and environmental requirements
  • Continuously make improvements to reduce environmental impact while simultaneously increasing the quality of our processes and products
  • Prevent pollution by annually assessing the environmental impact of both current and future operations
  • Consider environmental factors when selecting products and services
  • Strive for high customer satisfaction by actively measuring and following up on our performance against customer expectations
